| Blanket Drawing! |
A local high school student is busy proving that we all can
do something to prevent child abuse. Ashley was given
$10.00 by her Mass Communications teacher as part of a
project called Change the World. Ashley, who has
interviewed staff at Positive Parenting, Inc. many times for
the school newspaper, decided she wanted to change the
world right here at home.
Ashley bought materials to make a children's blanket. To
raise funds she accepted donations to be given to Positive
Parenting, Inc. All those who donated were entered into a
drawing for the blanket she made.
The drawing was held on December 20th. The winner of
the blanket was Annetta Kline from Chariton, Iowa. Ashley
will now work with Positive Parenting, Inc. to decide how she
would like the funds raised to be spent for preventing child
abuse.
Although the drawing is now over, you can still do YOUR
